Soil's latest monster of a release is the 21 song album Scream: The Essentials. This is a CD to crank up in your car for a demon drive. Band members Ryan McCombs, Tim King, Adam Zadel, and Mitch Gabel deliver a relentless punch.


“Gimme Some Lovin" is a gratifying and crazy rock n' roll party song. I hear a hint of the early days of KISS.  Onwards to some kickass furor found in tracks such as "Broken Wings" and "Unreal" full of passionate guitar work, steely raw vocals and a commanding monstrous interplay of bass and drums.

“Give It Up" featuring Wayne Static, is ultra intense, a nakedly ravenous track with fervent shrieks. "Shine On" is my personal favorite, full-on foot stomping weight. Closing song "Halo" is a pummeling tumultuous beast.

This album surrounds you, bewilders and confuses your senses until you've lost your way home.  Catch Soil on their current Redneck Rebellion Tour.
