Zach Pishney- guitar

Aaron Evans- bass

Greg Diamond- drums

Dark Divine Reimagined is a 3-song EP done in acoustic. Slash once said, “There's no lying with the acoustic guitar. There's something very pure and very humbling about it.” Strip away all the muck of multi-layered overdubs, rack effects and endless symphonies of tracks, and you separate the dodgers hiding behind studio wizardry and the artists who know a great song only needs six strings and a melody. Like Moths to Flames aim their guns to new territories with the unplugged version of “Empty the Same,” “Even God Has a Hell,” and “Nowhere Left to Sink.”

You will hear heartfelt somber sounds with achingly mournful raw vocals. Within this EP, Like Moths to Flames create patterns and different rhythmic textures that are not only engaging but atmospheric. When you hear the lyrics orchestrated this way, you peel back the extras and get a different view of what the artists are saying. It reminds me of “Jane Says,” the acoustic version by Jane's Addiction. The beautiful tones on Dark Divine Reimagined is meant for you to take a step back and slowly breathe in the music, if you will.

Like Moths to Flames have toured with All That Remains, The Devil Wears Prada, and Memphis May Fire. They are currently touring with Oceans Ate Alaska, Phinehas and Novelists and will be performing on December 9th at The Worcester Palladium.
