Song review by Allyson Kingsley Music Journalist with Boston Rock Radio

Tommy Stewart's Dyerwulf is a two piece doom metal band featuring Tommy Stewart of Hallow's Eve on bass and lead vocals and Eric Vogt of Armed Chaos on drums and vocals. As the duo are normally known for their thrash roots, this project delves deep into atmospheric doom metal. “Shadow in the Well” is the first release off their upcoming album set for release in November of 2018. I had originally questioned the fact that there was no guitar but the song is absolutely perfect in its dark ambience. It is simple doom metal and in its simplicity is a chance to enjoy the genre in its rawest form. I look forward to a future album review.
