The Wilkof Project
Not a Slave”
EP release date January 12, 2018
Song review by Allyson Kingsley Music Journalist with Boston Rock Radio

There is a lot to be said for talented hard working musicians who get out there every day to bring good music to their fans. There is even more to be said when they mingle with their fans, interact with them and try to deliver positivity in a world that is chaos filled. I have been following The Wilkof Project and have seen how these men pull it together to live their dream. Very proud of them and happy to introduce them to Boston Rock Radio listeners.

Originating from Florida the band is Matthew Wilkof (vocalist/ guitarist), TJ Bumgardner (drums), and Adam Kaye (bassist). Each with individual talent and together create a perfect medley.

The song “Not a Slave” delivers a potent and positive message. The sound gets under your skin and piques interest. It is raw and savage and real. Matthew’s vocals are nothing short of stunning.

The band will be officially releasing their EP All or Nothing very soon and I will certainly be requesting my copy if only to enjoy the soul filled sounds they created. Take a listen and enjoy.
