Criminal Action Drives Me Up the Wall Song review

Drives Me Up the Wall

 As much as I love thrash, death or doom metal, I will always first and foremost adore glam/sleaze metal. At the height of the mid to late 80s it was what I fucking partied my ass off to. When I opened the promo to review and saw the genre my heart swelled and I was not disappointed.


Criminal Action hails from Brazil, a country that I gather is very hard to get noticed in, let alone one that's had its struggles even getting concerts to at one time. The men in the group are Jean Pietro (vocals), Rogerio Vikz (guitar), Julio Vikz (drums), Ricke Tailz (bass) and William Wolfa (guitar) and they formed in 2010.


“Drives Me Up the Wall" is a badass song, pure rock n roll good times stuff. The instrumentation is excellent and Jean’s vocals are edgy. They remind me of early LA Guns. Being that I absolutely loved this song, I dug a little deeper and found that their independently produced album was available to listen to on YouTube as an appreciation gift to their fans. Give these guys some love and transport yourself to that feeling when rock was all about fun.
