Spreading the Rock N Roll Disease

Album review by Allyson Kingsley Music Journalist with Boston Rock Radio

I thoroughly enjoy those who are keeping the glam metal dream alive.  Introducing Crosson, glam melodic rock from Sydney, Australia. Upcoming album, Spreading the Rock N Roll Disease will be released in mid 2018. This is a mostly solo project done by Jason Crosson, who utilizes other rock musicians from Australia such as Joel McDonald (Rose Tattoo), Jordan McDonald, and bassist Dario Bortolin (Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo). The album was mixed by producer Duane Baron (Ozzy Osbourne, Poison) and European producer Mikko Karmila (Nightwish,Stratovarius). It will become available on Metalapolis Records.

I was totally enamored of the timeless feel of these songs. 80s glam will forever hold a huge part of my heart. And yet there is quite a modern feel to these songs. “All About the Music" states it plain as day, life connects us via music.

I loved the retro nostalgic feel on songs like “RIP Out my Heart" and “Take Another Shot"...reminded me of days where I was buried in Headbangers Ball craving the latest Ratt or The track comes from the band's upcoming box set "Decade: History of Our Evolution".
Motley Crue videos.

Crosson carries on that fun filled era of pure debauchery with catchy hooks and that raw free spirit. Hopefully coming soon to US soil.
